And if these spiked and sparkling drinks are not going anywhere, then drink makers have to continuously add innovative and inspiring flavors to their lineup to show just how much flavor they can add to hard seltzer.
As drinkers demand more from their hard seltzer, their calls will be answered, and more flavors released. 2021 is no exception. Here are a few of the new and innovative hard seltzers coming to a beverage cooler near you in 2021.
Mike’s Hard Lemonade Seltzer: One of the most anticipated hard seltzers of 2021 is coming in February/ March from the lemonade masters at Mike’s Hard Lemonade. This product will feature a variety pack with lemonade mixes like classic lemonade, mango lemonade, strawberry lemonade, and pineapple lemonade. Each 12oz can will contain 1 gram of sugar and 100 calories and clock in at 5.0% alcohol by volume (ABV).
Truly Iced Tea: The makers of Truly Seltzer and Lemonade Hard Seltzer are bringing the flavors of iced tea to the hard market. Expect the classic flavors of iced tea with fruit addition and a variety pack so drinkers can sample all and find a favorite. The variety pack will contain cans of strawberry tea, lemon tea, raspberry tea, and peach tea. Each 12oz can will contain 1 gram of sugar, 100 calories, and clock in at 5.0% ABV.
White Claw Iced Tea: The biggest name in seltzer is continuing to innovate and they want to make sure that White Claw drinkers can enjoy their favorite fruited teas from their favorite beverage company. White Claw Iced Tea will come in four flavors in their variety pack: peach tea, lemon tea, raspberry tea, and mango tea. Each 12oz can will contain 1 gram of sugar, 100 calories, and clock in at 5.0% ABV.
White Claw Variety Pack #3: When White Claw Variety Pack #2 came out, seltzer drinkers stopped what they were doing and took notice. White Claw took drinkers’ enthusiasm and combined it with their desire for new flavors and came up with Variety Pack #3. White Claw Variety Pack #3 will come with 12oz cans of blackberry, strawberry, pineapple, and mango hard seltzer. Each 12oz can will contain 1 gram of sugar, 100 calories, and clock in at 5.0% ABV.
Corona Hard Seltzer Variety Pack #2: The makers of La Cervesa Mas Fina, Corona, decided that 2020 was the year to break into the hard seltzer market, and they offered their original variety pack of inspired tropical flavors. 2021 will see another pack of Corona Hard Seltzer, this time with more tropical flavor options. Corona Hard Seltzer Variety Pack #2 will feature pineapple, raspberry, strawberry, and passionfruit hard seltzers. Each 12oz can will contain 1 gram of sugar, 90 calories, and clock in at 4.5% ABV.
White Claw Surge: Seltzer drinkers have been asking for a high-octane seltzer with more flavor and stronger alcohol presence for drinking occasions. White Claw heard their fans and brought out White Claw Surge – an 8.0% ABV hard seltzer coming to large cans soon. White Claw Surge will feature flavors of blood orange and cranberry in a bigger version of their fan-favorite seltzer.
Truly Extra: After Truly drinkers kept asking for a bigger version of their favorite seltzer, the makers of Truly gave them Truly Extra, debuting in 2021. This stronger version of Truly clocks in at 8.0% ABV and will carry the combined flavor of peach and mango and will come in large cans.
